A great aspect of the 2020 Ford Escape is that you can tailor its performance to your individual needs. With this SUV, you will have the choice of four different motors: two EcoBoost® engines, a hybrid, and a plug-in hybrid engine.
The two EcoBoost® engines do a great job providing you with the power you need, while conserving as much fuel as possible:
- 1.5L EcoBoost® engine: This standard engine produces 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque.
- 2.0L EcoBoost® engine: This available engine produces 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.
If you are looking for extremely efficient performance out of your new SUV, the available hybrid engine will give you up to 44 city/37 highway MPG. Added control while driving is also had with the available AWD system. This will give you great traction while driving through the snow or rain.
