The standard 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine, as well as the available 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine, feature an eTorque Mild Hybrid System. This trades the traditional alternator on the engine and replaces it with a battery-powered, belt-driven motor generator.
This means you will continue to get great power that results in strong towing capabilities, but now with even better fuel efficiency. This makes the Ram 1500 a vehicle that can be practical for your daily driving even when you aren’t towing or hauling a lot of gear.
On top of that, you can get an available 4x4 system, so you can confidently drive through snow, mud, and any other road conditions or terrain.
Interior Design in the 2020 Ram 1500
Once you open the doors to the 2020 Ram 1500, you’ll realize luxury is no longer just for sedans and SUVs. Even trucks as strong and rugged as the Ram 1500 still have room for some elegance.
