In 1938, Clyde Guschewsky started Fremont Motors in Lander, Wyoming. When Clyde passed away, Jim Guschewsky, and his brother, Bill Guschewsky became partners in the business until the 1980s. In 1989, Jim appointed Chuck Guschewsky the president of the family company. Chuck has a wife, two daughters and a son-in-law.

Today, Fremont Motors has nine stores and currently employs around 350 associates.
