The 2.7L EcoBoost® is standard in the Ford F-150 Lariat and available in the XL and XLT. Not only is the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 the standard engine for the King Ranch and Platinum trim levels, but it’s also available in the XL, the XLT, and the Lariat.

The 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 engine is standard in the Limited and available in all other trims. Finally, there’s the 3.0L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel. It’s also available in all six trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.

There’s no denying that such a formidable array of possibilities allows you to successfully customize your ride according to your specific needs and personality.

The F-150 also has you covered if you plan on pulling such items as a trailer filled with work equipment, a trailer for your ATVs, a boat, a couple snowmobiles, or a camper. The number that makes this possible is 14,000 pounds. That’s the maximum available towing capacity for the 2021 Ford F-150 when it’s properly equipped.

2021 F-150: Advanced Technology Features for Optimal Convenience

2021 Ford F-150Whenever you’re on the road, it’s important to be able to focus your primary attention toward the drive itself. The available 12-inch touchscreen certainly helps by making sure you’ll have a full view of its features and can access the controls and settings easily and quickly.

Other aspects of technology worth noting include Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. These let you make use of your favorite smartphone apps directly from the dashboard instead of through a potentially distracting mobile device. In the unfortunate event that you’ve been involved in an accident, the 2021 Ford F-150 provides 911 Assist® that immediately contacts emergency responders to get you the help you need.

2021 Ford F-150 Safety Features

2021 Ford F-150Safety is sure to be high on your list of priorities during any vehicle search. This is another area where the F-150 shines. First, there’s the standard Rear View Camera with Dynamic Hitch Assist. It maximizes visibility by giving you a clear picture of the area directly behind your truck whenever you’re in Reverse. In addition to this, Dynamic Hitch Assist makes it easier for you to hook up your trailer or camper to the truck.

There’s also Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking. It’s another standard feature and is able to detect pedestrians as well. With this safety feature on your side, you’ll avoid coming into contact with other vehicles or individuals as they cross your path.

Hill Start Assist is a standard part of the 2021 F-150 as well. When attempting to drive up a hill after stopping momentarily, it continues to hold down the brakes long enough for you to move your foot from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. This action keeps you from rolling backward down the hill before you can accelerate.
