How many trim levels does the Ford F-150 have?

Seven Ford F-150 trim levels are available. These include:

  • XL. The base trim comes with SYNC® 4 infotainment as well as Ford Co-Pilot360™ driver assist technology.
  • XLT. Add a few more safety features to the mix, like BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow Coverage.
  • LARIAT. Leather-appointed seats and a digital instrument cluster and 12-inch touchscreen elevate this trim level.
  • King Ranch. Unique King Ranch leather and logos help this trim stand out—and so does the available B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen.
  • Platinum. Multicontour leather seating surfaces with Active Motion® offer the massaging comfort you crave.
  • Limited. Take power to the next level with a 400-HP EcoBoost® V6 and the ability to turn your truck into a generator.
  • Tremor. Built to take on the trails, the Tremor features Trail Control™ and plenty of off-road armor.
  • Raptor. The ultimate off-roader is ready for intense environments with sport-tuned shock absorbers and more.

How many people does the Ford F-150 seat?

The Ford F-150 seats 3–6 passengers, depending on the cab you choose. The Regular Cab features just one row of seats and seats up to 3 people. The Super Cab and SuperCrew seat up to 6 people across two rows.

The SuperCrew has more rear legroom than the Super Cab, so take that into account if you plan on transporting passengers over long drives.

 

 

 


How much can the Ford F-150 tow or haul?

The Ford F-150 can tow up to 14,000 pounds when properly equipped. It has a max payload of 3,325 pounds.


Ford F-150 Off-Road

Which F-150 is best for off-roading?

All F-150 trims are capable off-roaders, given that they all offer available 4WD. However, only the Tremor and Raptor trims are specially tuned for off-roading. Of the two, the Raptor is the higher trim and traditionally the best F-150 on the trails.


What is the gas mileage of the Ford F-150?

The F-150 fuel economy depends on the configuration you choose. The most efficient engine is the 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full Hybrid V6, which earns an EPA-estimated 25 city / 26 highway / 25 combined MPG (4x2).   

The 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 brings the efficiency of diesel fuel with an EPA-estimated 20 city / 27 highway / 23 combined MPG (4x4).

The most efficient gasoline engine is the 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 with an EPA-estimated 20 city / 26 highway / 22 combined MPG (4x2).


What kind of oil does the Ford F-150 take?

Ford F-150 Oil

According to the 2021 Ford F-150 Owner’s Manual, most engines will use SAE 5W-30 or (for 20°F-below weather conditions) SAE 0W-30 engine oil.

The exceptions are the 3.0L Power Stroke® V6 and 3.3L Ti-VCT V6. The 3.0L Power Stroke® uses SAE 5W-30 FA-4, SAE 10W-30 FA-4, SAE 5W-40 CK-4, or SAE 0W-40 CK-4. The 3.3L Ti-VCT uses SAE 5W-20 or SAE 0W-20.
