Tire-and-Wheel coverage is there to help reduce or even eliminate costs of fixing or replacing a tire, tires, or rim(s) due to road hazards. Road hazard examples might include; nails, pot-holes, or debris. Coverage is available for new and used cars, pickup trucks, crossovers, minivans, and SUVs.
Advantages to this coverage are; no dollar limit per claim, multiple term options are available, as well as a no-deductible option. Tire-and-Wheel coverage also covers run-flat tires, and the contract is transferrable. Tire and wheel damage can occur when you least expect it. As you can see from the example, it can also end up being costly to repair or replace even just one tire/wheel. Costs in the example are based on national averages.
